SpeedFan 4.35 Final is online! This is a great release, packed with new features. It supports a lot of new hardware (Areca RAID, FB-DIMM, Abit uGuru 3, several nVidia, VIA and Intel SMBuses,...), greatly improves SCSI support, adds a new EXOTICS tab, improves support for specific motherboards, fixes some issues and much more.

Did anyone notice much changes btw? I'm using an A64 system atm so I'm not seiing a lot of differences apart from the Exotics tab!

Looks like some software monitoring programs from several years ago (MBM etc), still better than I can do! :D

Tjunction added, read all the info for each Beta jump. ;)

If SmartFan detects the sensors for hard drives it will list them in the Temperatures tab in its configuration. You will need S.M.A.R.T. support enabled in your BIOS if you have that option.

I installed Real Temp but thought I would check this out. Speed fan is giving me CPU readings of 113C

Considering the core temps under load aren't even remotely near that, I guess it's just a bug? It's 113c idle too, it never moves. I've opened up speed fan in the past and seen CPU temperatures similar to core temperatures so it's strange it sometimes does it.

Edit:

All of a sudden it dropped to 28c. God knows what the actual temperature is.

It aint a bug, its simply s sensor that are not used.

Find out what your CPU temp is and compare it to 1 of the Speedfan Sensors then rename it to CPU Temp. :)

You will need enter the CONFIG section.

I have minus readings also, simply uncheck them.
