Hi guys, im having an OCing night :) First one too!

Im using Speedfan 4.33, core temp 0.95.4 and Intel TAT 2.05.2006.0427 to monitor my temperatures. My problem is they all seem to be reading diffent tempertatures.

My E6750 is @ 3.28GHZ on 1.35 iir. Im running Orthos and after a few mins my load temps reported are

Speedfan - 52 - 54 (has flame symbols?!?!?! whats that all about?)
core temp - 65 / 67
Intel TAT - 50 - 52

Question is, what one do I trust?

NB Mobo is GA-P35C-DS3R

Coretemp always gives me higher temperatures than other programs, although I believe Coretemp is the one that gives the correct temperature.

As I was saying I have the same issue with Coretemp giving the correct result, the others giving a lower result. What I'm worrying about slightly though is I am using the Q-Fan CPU Fan speed control feature on Asus AI Suite (because it's fairly loud without it) and AI Suite always gives me a low CPU temperature compared to Coretemp so I'm worried that it won't up my fan speed when needed as it doesn't even know it's too hot.

The flame symbols on speedfan just indicate that the temperature is a lot higher than the desired temperature for that sensor. You can adjust the desired temps yourself in the config menu.

Thanks for that guys, core temp it is then :)

Managed to get my E6750 to 3.28 on stock voltages with 8 hours of stressing hitting 66. Time for a CPU cooler next I think.
