Speedfan or core temp - which to bilieve

Got both of these running

Speedfan is reporting 35 degrees idle for my [email protected]

Core Temp is reporting 55 degrees idle :eek:

Which one is correct?

Under loosd the temp dosent noticably increase :confused:

Still on stock cooler till the weekend

Core Temp is more likely to be right.

Better get a Freezer Pro on it a bit sharpish then

Well i reduced the cpu back to stock until the freezer arrives and temps still havent dropped :confused:

Is the stock cooler really this bad?

Yup, and just to make sure i downloaded the TAT utility from intel, and it agrees with CoreTemp
