Speedfan Question

When using speedfan to adjust fan speeds, i change the speed for instance to 50%, but it doesnt slow the fan down in any way. Fan is plugged into mobo header and has the yellow wire. Tried loadsa different fans, same problem. Is there a setting in speedfan? or do i need mobo updates?

SpeedFan doesn't work on some mobos/fan headers on mobo. Like, I can control my chassis & CPU fan speed on a A8V Deluxe but can't conrtol the fan on PWR header Suggest you do some more research here
