Hey all,

I've recently discovered Speedfan :D
My CPU fan (AC Freezer Pro) is so loud :o (Will be replacing it shortly ;))
So I went into Speedfan and turned it down from 100% to 50% - this made it a lot quieter.

However, when I restart the fan goes back to normal settings :(

Anyway to save the fan at 50%?

Thanks,
Marky

I have the same CPU cooler and mine is competley silent. Its running at 805RPM. Using my P5K motherboard, I set the bios options for my CPU fan to be "Silent" from "performance". It used to sound like a tornado but now it doesn't.

Currently Speedfan tells me the fan is running at around 2800RPM :O
When I select Silent in the BIOS it puts it to around 2100RPM but in Speedfan - putting it to 50% puts it all the way down to around 1300 - 1500RPM which is nice and quiet :(
