SpeedFan "Temp1" really hot...

Hey all..

Would anyone have any idea what "Temp1" on SpeedFan is? All my other readings are only about 35-40c but this Temp1 seems to be at about 55-58c when idle.

I am running on normal air cooling, two out-take fans at the back and an in-take fan on the side.

Does it go up under load? Use Orthos or the like to stress your computer, and see if the temp goes up. If it does it could be your CPU

I don't believe it is my CPU. "Core1" and "Core2" are my CPU afaik - they are both on the "INTEL CORE" chip too. Both of those are on 31c now.

Speedfan for me reads the 2 core temps, and also the CPU temp, which is the reading taken from under the chip on the motherboard
