Hi

I wanna check that the Temps I'm getting are correct for the listing Speed Fan

I have the ASROCK 939-DualSATA2 mobo

This is the information SpeedFan gives me, no settings changed

Whats is Temp1?
What is Temp2?
What is Temp3?
What is Core?

I'm assuming the Core is CPU but it is a dual core CPU, doesn;t each core have a different temp sensor?
--------------------
Also the different Cores have different Voltages going into them? Should this be right?

See the following:

Got same mobo & all I know (from both XP & Vista 32-bit) is that Temp 1 is mobo/chipset & Temp 2 is CPU. You can got BIOS to double-check/corelate ;)

And should I be worried about the temps at stock?

How long was prime running? Whats the max temp seen? Stock cooling? A bit warm but nothing to get worried over, overclocking may bring em up a bit too hot though.

Prime was running over night....so 6ish hours....

I wanna o/c you se, would you say the high temp is due to the poor cooler?

Cheap Alaska Cooler £6-8 ish

the temps are pretty high, so maybe a tower cooler or AC Freezer 64 Pro might be better as well as better air circulation through the case

You mean Akasa, right?

Most CPU coolers have a rating & the cheap/non-heatpipe ones can not handle a dual-core chip. Think its time you invest in a 'better' cooler like this one ;)
