not sure this is in the right place but here goes

i installed speed fan as i found it the easiest tool to use for adjusting fan speeds and temp monitoring. ive tried installing it on vista ultimate and for some reason everytime i run the prog my shuttle restarts, im guessing its something to do with the fans spinning at 100% wen speedfan starts up and the shuttle thinking its overheating and restarting as a safety measure, any ideas how to fix the problem?

but a simple reinstall fixed it

tried it once, then had 2 reinstall vista so did a new install then tried again, still does the same

you got fan control disabled in bios?>

its just set to low at the mo not smartfan

disable it in bios so it runs max 24/7

then adjust it via speedfan

just this minute tried that, fans spinning full and it still did it, just got the latest version so gunna try that now, maybe my board isn't compatible

rite, got the prog workin now, must have had problems with 4cores on the version i had or sumthing, now the only problem i have is that no matter if i put the fan speed up or down, nothin changes

i give up, ive got a temp monitor that works and im just gunna let smartfan control the fans
