Im curently overclocking my new E8400, and as im doing so im using SpeedFan 4.35 to keep a eye on the temperatures, but ive noticed that it is reporting that the -5v supply is currenty running at -1.99v. Now i would think that this is a serious problem, the the computer runs fine. The -12v is also only on -9.73v.
Is SpeedFan reliable for giving accurate redings for the voltage.

By the way im running a DFI DK P45-T2R and a Hiper Type R 580watt Modular PSU:D, I belive that there is not much love for this PSU around here.

It will be fine to completely ignore all the -v readings, nowdays they are not utilised anyway. Speedfan is just as accurate as any other method of reading the mobo sensors.

There may not be much loved lost between Hiper and this forum, but in my mind it's a little bit unjustified. I ran the same Hiper 580 modular on a DFI Lanparty B, a DFI Ultra-D a Gigabyte 965 and even my current mobo for a couple of weeks. It has never let me down and in fact is still running an E6600 at 4.02ghz in the Gigabyte 965.
