Hey, Just been looking at my CPU temps but confused over which is the correct reading.

The CPU reading says 27 degrees but the 4 cores read high 40's - 50's.

Which is correct?

Its something else, IIRC it's the NB or SB but don't quote me on that.

The cores readings are correct.

CPU temp may be read from the socket or the IHS.

Download HW monitor and compare temps.

My CPU temperature on a P5QL-E is the AUX.

Putting your PC under load and see which one goes up the most will be a good indicator.
