Speedfan

As soon as I open Speedfan, it attempts to load but before completing the load I get a BSOD with the error: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and system reboots.

Any ideas? I'm on Windows 8.1

Don't use speed fan, it terrible! It said my cpu was at 128c! When it was actually only at 30c...

I use HW Monitor for temperatures as Speedfan would always report weird and wonderful things.

Speedfan does need some configuring and arranging for certain mobos. It's perfectly fine on mine though and I have spent a while setting it up right.

That BSOD error sounds GFX driver related. It's trying to read the GPU temp and failing > bsod.
