I'm struggling to get SpeedFan working with windows 8.1 as i keep getting the blue screen of death, anyone got any solutions? Or has anyone got a program which is as good or better?

Yes BSOD was caused by a conflict with Intel Chipset Drivers for the new Z87, did not get on Z68 but see you have Z77.

Some claim they did not get issue but many inc myself did.

I have not used it since January due to this and it has had zero updates since even beta so assume it still will BSOD.

You can read many reports of it in his very basic log/forum thingy.

Yeah i've been reading on it and some fixes work for some and not for others like myself which is a shame, has the developer lost interest in the software? would be great to see it updated..

He could be busy with changes in life like kids born or ill or even dead but I doubt he got much donations over the years TBH.

Bloated Asus AI III suite has a fan control App many swear by but its got short comings IMO.
