Had a week away in Europe a week or so ago, and got flashed by a speed camera on a French motorway. No excuses really was going quicker than I should have, never been caught speeding in the UK or got any points on my license.

What are the chances I'm going to get a letter through the door? I've done some google searching but I can't seem to find anything solid.

I can't remember my exact speed but I would say I was doing a fair bit over the limit, also another british car behind me got flashed also!

If it's likely I will get a fine, how does the points system work? Am I likely to get points on my license for a speeding offence abroad?

Thanks in advance!
