May have just been caught speeding by one of the mobile units, anyway to find out before the letter comes no silly answers please and not that i-database rubbish.

Just going to have to wait mate, how fast were you going, what was the limit?

Can't really find out no...Just have to wait it out for a couple of weeks :)

Shouldn't have been speeding regardless :p
 
70 limit on dual carriage way, well i did break hard but i was doing 80 before i breaked, its right after a blind corner so not really sure if there allowed there some other people have said it needs to signs up etc.

First question, were you over the speed limit?

I thought I got caught the other month, but nothings dropped on my doormat so far, so I guess I got away with it.

They don't really need signs, as they're mobile units :p

Shouldn't be signs even for the mounted ones to be fair, they'd make millions on that alone!

If your speedo was indicating 80mph, then you were probably actually doing less than 75mph.

It's unlikely that you'll be be done for that.

It really depends what 'actual' speed they measured. Just have to wait it out I'm afraid.

If they were wondering on a dual carriage way they deserve to get splatted!

And their parents need a right good telling off for letting em!

Dual Carriage ways are a no go area for bicycles and pedestrians.

As for the speeder, if your speedo read 80, you actual speed will be less, if the mobile unit goes by the 10% + 2MPH limit then you may well be safe.
 
You gotta love the pious ones in this forum who never ever speed. :p

I got caught going through a red light a few months back. I knew the NIP was coming because there was a big yellow camera there. Was horrible waiting for it though.
