Speedlink Medusa's without a soundcard.

I just ordered a pair of speedlink medusa's but i haven't got a soundcard. Will they work on the Gigabyte DS3?

edit - nevermind i see that it has a built-in soundchip thing.

I'm using the original Speedlink Medusas using onboard sound only. They were better with my old Audigy 2, after using the calibration tools. If your onboard sound has the option you'll definitely want to play with the LFE crossover frequency. Made a huge difference to mine.

The USB Medusas don't require a soundcard.

Edit: Note: thats USB edition - not the USB powered edition.
