Speedlink strike fx dud?

Hi guys,

Trying to get the game pad above up and running however when it comes to plugging in the USB receiver I get the following;

Anyone have this controller/ maybe this problem before?

"I’ve installed the gamepad on my Windows PC and it is being detected and connected, but it doesn’t work.
