Speedtouch 780WL setup\config?

Hi all

I have moved ISP's form BE There to O2 as they both use the same lines and O2 was cheaper, now the problem is that they both use Speedtouch 780WL routers but the Be there router for some reason gives me much better speeds I.E if I connect the O2 one up I might get 13mb but when I connect the BE there router I get 17Mb.......I have only got the o2 line and my BE there is cancelled so Be there will ask for there router back................so what I’m asking is are there any apps that will check the config like SNR and things like that or could someone send me the BE There router firmware and how to install it?

Any ideas or help would be great...I think it might be firmware or configs on the o2 router that holding back the speed so any help would be great.....Thanks all :confused:

If the routers are identical just send the new one back when they ask for the old one. Easy mistake to make

I wish one has a BE BOX written on it in big pink letters the other says O2.........

Out of interest, are the firmware versions that the two routers are running different?

That wouldn't stop me

They're effectively the same provider anyway, I doubt they'd care enough to follow it up.

Yeah the firmware versions are diffrent but I think its got somthing to do with the SNR set on the router.....I found this toll called DMT which can change this but it will not let me login into the 02 router but is fine withe the BE there one.............
