Speedtouch ST608WL setup

Got a spare router that am playing with, trying to setup broadband which works fine on other router. I've got all the details; IP ranges, username and password but no idea where to put them. connected to router and setup DSL (PPOA) which says connected but interface for internet is unassigned or down.
Looking for guidance on steps needs; IP routes, interface setup, where to put in router IP and dns etc. Newbie to networking......

Isn't there usually a "connect" button next to the interface on Speedtouch routers?

Their is on for next to DSL, clicked that and connected fine, logging some activity upstream and down. Then one next to internet but when I click on that nothing happens. I've hardware reset it twice so it's clean but I'm certain it's to do with router not having an IP and pointing to ISP gateway.

What happens if you use a different router?

Working fine on other router with correct setting which I cannot access as locked by isp. Also other router is cisco. Will call tech support and check if it's the router that needs to be registered but am certain that aint the case as they provide all details including ppoa username and password that seem to work fine. I'm just missing the correct speetouch setting which I doubt they will help me on as that's not the supplied kit.

Ok tried the following setup;
DSL modem - linksys router - speedtouch.
Setup speedtouch as bridged.
When I connect laptop via ethernet, it connects to internet okay.

However when connect laptop via wireless, it connects okay but no internet.

Seems like WLAN traffic isn't finding it's was to lan, any ideas on this?
