Speeec check! :D

Without meaning to sound condecending, why do you need 8GB of RAM?

Edit:// I like your spec.

Couple of questions:

Why go for a very quiet optical drive and a very noisy magnetic drive?
Why go for an expensive 8800gts rather than a cheaper one (or even a GT) and overclock it?

Hey thats why i post here so you can pose those questions! what would you suggest?

If you want quiet change the hard drive for a samsung spinpoint and the PSU in the case for an antec neo (if you want it from OCUK) or a seasonic S12, S12 mk2 or M12 mk2 (don't get an M12 mk1) if you're willing to shop around.

I think there are warrenty and bundle advantages to going with BFG and already OCd cards tend to clock higher (I think), but personally I would just go with the cheapest 8800gt 512 I could find, strap an accellero S1 and a 120/140mm case fan to it and overclock as far as I dared.

also how will that board handle 8gb of ram? is there a better board of choose?

Abit's site shows all 3 P35 boards they make support 8gb of RAM. No personal expereience or in-depth knowledge on my part for this one I'm afraid.

Looks good. Are you intending to overclock? If so consider an aftermarket cooler for the chip.

Do you really want a DDR3 mobo? I'm not sure it's worth it.
