I am looking for a new monitor in the region of £150 to £160. I am not computer literate, so you might have to explain what things mean.

Here is my spec:

OK. My main uses are train simming and need for speed, music production software, internet, a lot of office documents, watching dvds, and photo editing.

Hope this helps.

By the way would my graphics card be able to handle a "22" or "24" screen resolution?
 
How is the dell better when the ASUS has a higher resolution, better contrast ratio, a faster response time, an HDMI input, and it weighs less?

I'm really sorry but apart from having an e-IPS screen, how else is the dell better.
 
Sorry. I did read the link, but I don't think I fully understood the first time. Thank You for your little explanation. I think it will be the dell. Just a little more saving to do.

Would it be worth waiting until January and see if I can get it in the sale somewhere?
