None of your cars are an upgrade from a Focus ST/Astra really, what car have you currently got?
I can't think of anything with your criteria that would be an upgrade tbh.
Civic diesel.
Not looking for an upgrade over previous cars!

Why? You're spending £15k. If it's that much of an issue just spend £14k and there's your tax difference paid for for the next 4 years.

Car History: VXR8, Z4M, Focus ST, Astra VXR
Spec me: Corsa VXR or Clio 200
You're doing it wrong
Thanks for that Einstein. My confused smiley was meant to be me confused at the flippant comment from the OP.![]()

Mum, is that you?
Nice, but it's gonna struggle to get 30mpg, and VERY unlikely to get insurance for £600 unless mega clean history and in your 40's![]()

You do however save 2k over your max price, which might well cover your extra fuel costs and leave you with a more awesome car.
edit - Just seen your edit, I suppose that scuppers that idea a little bit...

Things to pay for I'm afraid. This was all 3+ years ago so nothing recent.

Though looking at your car history why do you need us? YOu have more hot hatch ownership experience than anyone else on here!
A standard Corsa VXR isnt the same as the Nurburgring model though.

And yes i know i can spend less and get an older car thats similar to some degree but i've done that in the past (as well as buy new, 4 month old cars and 16 year old cars and everything inbetween). At the moment i fancy a newish car.

The person who posted the ED30 is a good example of what i'd forgotten, i dont really like the normal GTi but the ED30 is a bit different.
