At the end of the month we will be purchasing a nice flat screen HDTV compatable TV.
My understanding of HDTV is limited and would appreciate your help choosing.
Current setup is a bog standatd TV with Sky + (Will be getting Sky HD when available) sound is outputted via an optical cable to a samsung home theatre system.
I want to replace the TV but keep the current home theatre system.
My budget is £1500.
I want a dedicated HDTV (Not PC/TV) with the best range of connectivity possible. I am also prepared to sacrifice a couple of inches in screen size for better quality/connectivity.

It has 2xHDMI, 1x VGA, 1x Component and 3x Scart. Mine is arriving tomorrow and I got it for £1200 from Freemans.
Nothing concrete yet.
