Sounds like you should change the 990FX for a P8P67 Pro, and the 1090T for an i5-2500k.
And since everyone seems to recommend it these days, the Gelid Tranquillo heatsink. Will set you back about £20 more (without looking at exact prices).

The 2600k will do you much better with the video editing and rendering - I just suggested the 2500k to keep price as close to the original build, but if you're fine paying the extra £70 for the 2600k it'll be worth it.

Get a water cooler such as a Corsair H60/Antec 620, the RAM you want is very tall, this can cause issues with big heatsinks especially if you are filling all four RAM slots on the board.

The PSU is compatible.

You can change the RAm to something with a low profile (XMS3/Kingston HyperX/VengeanceLP)

Would that do BF3 on ultra?

Or i could get a Gainward GeForce GTX 580 "Phantom" 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card not in SLi

The only issue being they are three slots thick, meaning the only free expansion slot left on the motherboard is the very top 1XPCI-E

It'll be slower than 570sli and unless your running a mental resolution 3gb ram is useless. Granted it won't have any SLI issues but that's a personal preference choice.

Case is good, I already checked the max length of card it supports, those ASUS GTX570 DirectCU will fit.
