Spending too much time on my computer.

find something you like doing instead of PC and do it ;) i spent a lot of time on pc.. and i hate it :O i honestly hate it... but my hobby is BMX and with uk weather it keeps putting me in front of pc.. good days.. im off all day long ;)

Erm, get some freinds to hang out with?

How can you spend 6 hours a day on the pc, thats beyond me.

If you wanna form a band see who you can get through word of mouth, also look in your local music shops, they'll have a "muscians seeking other musicians for gay band sex" board usually.
Nothing quite like it, I've not been in a band for a few months and I really miss it.

You can justify it to yourself as much as you like but it's sad to spend that long alone on a pc every day.

It's sad in your opinion yes but in this world of people having different interests, no.
People all over this planet have likes/hobbies that take up the same amount of time, none of it is sad.
I bet everything you do isn't sad as well?

I can think of one thing that can take up a third of that time, watching a film on the PC 2hrs, 4 hours left? an hour, maybe 2 reading forums and emails/social sights/youtube (an hour isn't long), 2 hours left, play a game for two.
You work it out.

obviously has been said, you just need to stop using the pc, and DO things.

But from the point of view of the pc, your still interested in it and you like to do 'pc stuff', a good thing to do is to only do actual work things on a PC, don't just go on to waste time.

So you pick a task and do it, and then finish with the pc. e.g. checking emails - just check them and then step away. do something like - I need to get the popcorn hour working, I need to burn some cds, or setup the webserver for hosting pics etc, or create that calendar from photos, any way what I mean is concentrate your pc efforts on only a single task until it's done, and only do a limited amount at a time. and don't get distracted wasting time and browsing the net.

Also set time limits on websites, I used to be able to spend 2 hours every evening reading a website, but if you just say, right, 30 mins or whatever and just read the most interesting things and quit you still get the benefit without all the wasted time etc. But you have to do something next like the dishes or something becasue then you feel like, well now i'm not on the internet, but what now? and then you go back on and another hours passes...

Honestly though it isn't ever as easy as "turning it off and going outside" or "just give yourself time constraints". Never that easy. I want to get off the PC more because I know it is bad for me, both socially and physically. I just enjoy it so much because it is one of my most important hobbies really. But I am looking to develop my music more and try and do something constructive with it so that's good. Also I'm off to Glasto this Saturday so I'll be away from the screen for about 10 days. That should help me clear my head of games and all things computers, tech, forum, youtube, blah blah blah. :D

Do stuff you enjoy DONT limit your time on the PC it wont work, just find other interests and the time on the PC will go down itself without you noticing. There must be stuff you like doing, but dont know it yet.

I can't wait to go to college as I've left school to work for a year, it should be great but I still love the PC and playing games. Would hate a job behind a PC though..

Socialise and be more active! though the two don't always come together. For example you could socialise down at your local pub..... ;)

Haha don't pee on the dog, i made that mistake last night:p

Zomg, that was you! hideous!1~~ :p

Not to be overly critical but you're just a typical lazy, unmotivated teenager of today. Nothing a few days of back breaking labour in a Siberian camp can't fix!
