Spiderman 3 poor performance?

Hey

anyone else got the game and think the performance sucks?

my comp isn't exactly high spec, but the game just runs awful - [email protected], 2gb ram & x1800xt. I would have thought the game should run ok ish, but it just runs awful, should i wait for a patch or are there any tweaks that anyone knows about?

i've got vista too, but i didn't think it would be such a big problem, with the game being released after vista.

The game really is one of the worst port's i've seen. a tiny percentage of people buying the game to play on pc will not have 8800's and c2d's. At least i would expect the game to scale down for it to be at least playable, but you can't even do that
