Well, have been playing this for about an hour and my conclusion is as follows: "meh". Does it get any better, as I'm quite tempted to trade this in for something else tbh. Again, meh...... :)

Have just played through the fantastic four game too and thought that was crap. Hoped spiderman 3 would be better :/

Usually end up paying ~£20 for a new 360 game I buy (£2/night for rentals though) new as i part ex most games. The grpahics are good tbh, put it seems so meh. I dunno.

Here's a quick guide for you, if its a film tie-in its probably crap. There are a few exceptions but they are in the minority, always read reviews first.

Anything like Marvel alliance, F4 that is?

It has similar style in that you can switch between four heroes but it's very very short and the leveling up system is stupidly basic compared to Marvel.

Put it this way it'll take you about 5-6 hours to complete it once, you need to do so twice to get the full 1000. Not worth more then a weekend rental.

Cool I have it on my rental list. I have a few semi pap games on there that I fancy playing but aren't worth a purchase :D

After a full on slog of concentration like forza I like a few switch off games :D

Actually, ignore my original post. This game has picked up. Although the mad button pressing sequences on some the bosses are sorta silly. ;)

I thought that, i didnt like it at first as i would mash the wrong button and get frustrated (used to PS2 controller buttons) after i learnt the buttons it wasnt that bad.

As for Spiderman 3, i kinda liked it, especialy the scorpian levels.

I've been killing this over the weekend and really enjoying it. Nearly done now after about 10+ hours according to the game timer.

Mine wasn't bought, was rented, but well worth a rental :)

tbh, i thought the battle with the guy on the surf board (harry osbourne) would never end. That was about 5 solid minutes of button pressing fun.

wow, this Kraven guy (guy you fight in the sewers who morphs etc) is time consuming. Took me 5 goes to beat the first part, that guy takes so much damage its silly.

Just depleated all his health on the second part, but was spamming a combo, so i messed up the button pressing sequence at the end :( (once all his health is gone a Y appeasr above his head, must have spammed that without knowing, ffs).

I'm beating this guy if its the last thing i do! ;) (i hope).

EDIT: just beat that guy! Yay. Now i'm faced with a huge lizard that fills up most of the screen. This is an epic, yet intense level! glad i sticked with s3 :)

Right, the saga continues. I'm now in the giant lizard. I get him stunned and then grab his tail to throw him into a generator. However, how the heck do you get enough momentum actually get him into the generator? He always falls short and after a few circles spiderman drops him automatically? Any ideas?

Push B to grab and use LS to rotate faster and faster and then press the "rage thingy" RB? and it will go faster and then press B to realease

IIRC - was 3 weeks ago i played it

I had the right idea, was just lacking in my execution ;)

You can swing him round three times and release on the third. I also used LS to position the camera so it was adjacent to a generator. After all four are destroy and his sheild are down its quite an easy fight after that tbh. Just dodge his drives, when he foolishly gets stuck in the ground turn rage on and let loos on him. I found (combined with rage) that spamming strong atatck (Y) worked wonders - taking 40% of his life away each time.

That whole boss sequence (Kraven x2 and the lizard) too me a good 2 hours to finish at least. However, i'm probably a noob and made a meal outta it - was defo hardest boss so far!

Just finished this. The "Grand Finale" level is top draw. Glad spiderman 3 turned out to be a worthwhile play.
