Spiderman Noir

Do not want.

Spider-Man, in general terms, is one of those IP that has very few fails (Games, Movies, Toys etc).

Bringing Nicolas Cage to the party is an instant fail. I like him as much as the next man, but he's in the twilight years of his career (just look at his filmography for proof!). Just because he did the voice in the animated film, doesn't mean he'll be any good at webbin' in live action:p.

Is there till time from someone from Sony or Marvel to change their mind on this? :D

I love the idea (like a bit of 30's detective noir) and I think Cage will be able to pull this off, but I just think it's too niche and probably confusing to "normies" (1930's spiderman, eh??? etc)for it to do that well but I hope I'm wrong.

I mean, both spider-verse movies have more than introduced the character to the superhero movie watching masses.

Can't be worse than the Tom Holland movies, I know I'll get flack for this given their popularity but I found them to be utter cack par parts of the last, and that was largely due to Andrew Garfield and Toby Maguire being good.

The guy has the screen presence and charisma of a wet cardboard box.
