Spiders in the shed!

Not a parody of ants in the garden i swear

Theres some huge spiders in my shed, i saw two there could be more, how do i kill these things? They were too fast for the spider catcher and they terrify me so i don't wanna go near them. Any kind of permanent or semi permanent solution to this? Trap? Poison? Gas? Would RAID fly killer do it?

I hate going to get the lawnmower out and having to slowly and cautiously move into the shed looking up to make sure one dosent drop on my head or something

If you have spiders then you're unlikely to have bee or wasp hives.

Which would you prefer?

Ho humm.... i quite like bees, not so much wasps. And i dont know how i would feel with a hive of either in the shed =/ Swings and roundabouts i guess.
