Spiders live behind my computer

...and I may be wrong, but they seem more prone to coming out for a wander when I'm playing a game, which causes my PC to chuck out hot air at the back - possibly they need to come out to cool down??

Does anyone have a method of dealing with, or preferably preventing these horrors?

I really would quite like it if they went extinct

Just an update guys. This big ******* ran up the wall, so I sprayed him with the first thing to hand - a can of Right Guard. He stood his ground, so I beat him with the next thing to hand - a Stanley tape measure. This injured him but didn't kill him. While he was limping further up the wall I ran off to get some kitchen roll and came back just as he fell off.

Now I don't know where he is and that's the worst part of all....the not knowing.
