Splash screen issue?

Hi,

Why is it that when i turn my pc on the motherboard splash screen only fits say 90% of my screen (looks like theres no graphic driver installed)?
Im connecting dvi to a radeon 5770

It didnt do this on my old radeon 5770 card connecting by dsub

my guess would be , that at the early stage there are default display settings at low colours and resolution till the gfx card kicks in.

I always turn the splash screen off as i like to see what's going on.

If it bothers you that much (if your mobo supports it) make your own splash screen
