hi guys so I decided I have had enuff with my stock 3770k cooler and have just got the corsair h80i will it run well and keep it cool will there be a big difference.
tbh atm im getting even on idle 45-50c and full load around 95c
and its not even overclocked lol

Got one of these on my 4670K with a 4.2GHz OC and my idle temps are low to high 20's and between 45c - 60c in-game depending what game I'm playing. low to mid 70's when running Intel Burn Test.

I think it's a fantastic cooler! :D

im also looking at ram space aswell and my case aint massive either so this seemed like the right fit for me.
do u guys reckon I can overclock my 3770k at all with this cooler?

There's nothing wrong with as such, it's just noisier and doesn't cool any better than a number of air coolers costing much less.

..I think most people get them for purely aesthetic reasons TBH.

A lot of people get these sort of coolers because you get same performance as the air cooler, without the need to worry about ram heatsinks or space from mobo to the case

+1 for the H80i from me my 8350 is running at 4.6ghz and the fan profile im running kips it quiet when not gaming at its not loud enough for me to here it when I am gaming .... I did upgrade the fans on it and set them up in push pull. the other point being made is that these do not take up much room over the motherboard so allow for better air flow in my case IMO.

hey guys ive just installed my h80i on my 3770k and my idle temp is 39-40c is this correct im abit confused??
I was getting around 45-c just on my stock intel cooler :(
