Splinter Cell: Blacklist

Didn't even realise this was being released next week, thought it was further away still.

Anyone getting it or looking forward to it? I was fairly interested when the initial previews were out a while back, but I can't say I've really been following it much since then, it just doesn't seem to have moved on much since Conviction and that was quite a few years ago now. It's a game I'd like to play at some point, but I don't see much reason to get it on launch.

Blacklist got score of 9.2 on IGN review incidentally

A friend and I have both pre-ordered copies. I'm hoping it goes back a little to how pandora tomorrow/chaos theory was with no remote hacking etc.

Can't wait for the game though looks brilliant

Its not the splinter cell that I grew up with, but it certainly looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Seems to be getting quite good reviews, some of the complaints of Conviction have been addressed such as the level design not really lending itself to different approaches or styles of play, which sounds good. Shame that the storyline apparently falls quite flat though, if they'd been able to come up with something fresh it'd have been impressive.

You can only sell games via the MM mate, or give them away via the PC Codes sub-forum but you won't have access to either of those as yet unfortunately.

Got my pre-order in from Tesco....should have been the Upper Echelon pack one and all I got was game with no pre-order bonuses. Not happy.....phoned Tesco in a rage

Need to wait until Monday for resolution.

Played first mission, enjoying it so far, very much like Conviction

EDIT - Tesco came through with an email this morning with a working code for the Upper Echelon Pack.

Disappointed with co-op, split screen forces player 2 to sign in as a guest, so they can't level up, earn achievements etc.....

Hopefully Ubisoft fix this as Conviction allowed it
