Splinter Cell double agent crashes : /

i recently bought scda and every time i try to play the single player it crashes and then the first screenshot pops up and after i click it the second pops up

can any1 help? because ubisofts support site is to say the least ****

and i have reinstalled it 3 times already

I've found two things that are supposed to help:

1) install DirectX from the DVD even if you have DX9c as it apparently installs extra files

2) make a shortcut to the game .exe and add -ll to the command line

e.g. "C:\Program Files\ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent\SCDA-Offline\System\SplinterCell4.exe" -ll
