Hi there,

Does/did anyone use a gamepad to play this game? I wanna play it using the 360 pad but it doesnt assign buttons automatically so I'm basically stuck on what should do what. Has anyone used a pad successfully with this game? Some of the actions I cant assign either so it looks a little sketchy! So if someone is kind enough to share thier keymap that would be great!:)

Thanks a lot.

No cause FPS games are best played with Mouse/KB IMO.

And unlike a Console you wont have crappy AutoAim if you use the Controler on a PC.

Its third person? Aint really too fussed on whats better than what just wanna know button configurations really.

When I said FPS, I was covering 1st and 3rd person in the fact you move a person about as if its you.

It aint a Racing game or a Sim game or an RPG or Adventure where you move stuff about on a Map ?.

Well theres a bit of a difference between the two, either way I prefer 3rd person with a gamepad hense the op.

I was not trying to be offtopic, but just incase you dont know crappy consoles autoaim for you and you will not get this on the PC, so you may find it harder to aim in a 1st/3rd person shooter type game.

K well its not the first kinda game ive played on the PC with a pad so I think Ill be alright without the crappy aim. The game is mainly 3rd person which I find better with a pad where as obviously 1st person keyboard/mouse.

From personal experience it doesnt really matter what control method you use, because I found the PC version of SCDA so buggy and unstable, I ended up getting it on 360 instead.

From what I played of it (quite a bit), you were never required to pull off anything very fast, and analogue movement would have been rather nice. I think you'll do well to use a pad.

Why don't you just assign what feels comfortable?

Mainly down to laziness, id rather learn the controls in-game rather than trying to figure out what would be best for what plus there are too many options.:p

Ive sorted it now anyway installing the official 360 pad drivers automatically assigned the keys.lol

The game is seriously buggy though and not a scratch on the first one!

Thanks for the replies.

Yea theres not enough dark office environments (so-far) with amazing lighting affects that the first one offered on the Xbox/PC. Annoying how there is only a green/yellow/red sensor for detection and no sound gauge! The weapons and opsat menus are terrible and the game is giving me motion sickness for some reason lol. Terrible.
