Splinter Cell double agent-problem with safe hacking on Shanghai Level-It won't work!

Please please anyone who has played this - have you had the same problem and know a way round it?

I am on the Shanghai level and the mission 'Sample Red Mercury'. You have to hack the safe and I have finally made it to the thing. However when I go to hack it Sam enters the mini game mode to hack it, which I managed to do no problem in the first JBA HQ level, can't do anything. It states that the left and right directional keys turn the dial, however when I press the left and right keys nothing happens!

Has anyone else had this problem. I have read three guides now and it looks like I have not missed anything.

Please someone help me - I was really enjoying this game prior to this.

Btw - I have applied the latest patch.

Don't worry (coz I know you all were) Got the Solution form the ubisoft FAQ's. Turns out that that safe is a different design to all the others in the game in that you have to use the mouse wheel as well.

hmmm - not mentioned in the manual or the game interface -

Right.

The mouse wheel controls the speed that the dial is turned.
