I updated to the new patch using the auto-patcher thing, but I can't see much in the first mission... other than the look of the inside of a plane. The graphics are all over the shop :(

I get all ticks on the hardware detection too. What do I do???? :(

I have a 7800 GTX which I thought would be fine... even when I tried the basic display options..

Do you have AA enabled? I rememeber having graphics worthy of the phrase "all over the shop" when I had AA on. Although saying that, I think I fixed it by updating, which you have done. Try it anyway, couldn't hurt.

I gave up on the game after I started to get this graphical poo poo.

This game has been sat on my shelf for a while now. It has to be the buggiest game I've ever come across.

Your screenshot is better than mine! I have backgrounds overlaying Sam (to the point that I can't really see him) and weird things poping in and out when i move the cam.
V annyoing.

I also tried turning some display settings off and on, even tried turning them all off, no difference!

Just updated to the latest drivers, no help there! Anyone else had this problem? Can't believe there's no simple solution...

Read the Ubiport forums, the games horrendous, i couldn't even play the demo on my old x1800 as it had weird graphial errors, had flashing morse code in the bottom right corner and along the bottom, its a ******* joke, they must have been taking the wazz as no way could they miss any of the faults in testing, some of them are laughable. :D :D

same here - not just bugs, but p*ss-poor interface - really poor implementation.

It was a huge let-down - for something that had potential.

I waited for a patch, no sign whatsoever, uninstalled and that was that.

:(

Worked perfectly for me on my 7800GTX512. Never crashed once or any levels bugged up either. Also looked very good at 1920x1200.

Bought the X360 version though as the gfx are slightly better but it has horrible vsync disabled screen tearing and the loading times are much longer.

Got the PS3 version but that makes the PC version look good! No shaders in many places just basic plain surfaces and a really low FPS but no screen tearing. One of the worse ports ever with terrible FPS & loading issues even though it used 880MB of the PS3 HD for caching data. Sold it for no loss the next day.

Tried the PC version again on my new 8800GTX and sam fisher is a bloby mess regardless of gfx settings. Some have reported being able to complete it on a 8800GTX but they do not seem to share what gfx settings used.

Really bad support from Ubisoft and very surprising as the game only uses Unreal Engine 2.5 (not the GOW Unreal3 engine some reviewers have wrongly reported). Should be easy for the devs to fix but looks like it has been abandoned. Once you get used to the game it is actually rather good especially on an X360 gamepad.

hmm ive played the demo at 1280x1024 and next generation graphics settings and seem to be getting no bugs and a fairly constant 55-70fps+.

I might get the full agme, as i assume it would run better than the demo with the latest patches and what not.
