Splinter Cell: Double Agent

I thought the single player experience was fantastic. I'd never played a Splinter Cell game before and I found it quite hard to get into but by level 2 I'd figured out the style and loved it.

I'd recommend it.
 
Great game, can only imagine it will have improved since its release on the 360. Certainly would recommend it based on the 360 version.
 
I have played the other ones in the past and did enjoy them:) just never got round to getting this 1 when i had my 360

Think ill pick this up today then

Even though I already have the PC & X360 versions have ordered the PS3 as well because:

PC version is very laggy/buggy and unenjoyable to play because of this plus no direct joypad support.

X360 version suffers from horrible screen tearing issues caused by them disabling vsync to keep the FPS up.

I understand that the PS3 version is a little slow in places but at least the screen will not tear plus it has another 8 mins of CGI cut scenes as well as 2 exclusive multiplayer maps, a female character and a few other changes.
 
Oh actually, the 360 version is quite buggy. Theres a level in some snowy place that involves you hvaing to get ontot a ship. Sound bugged out for the majority of the level, noticed a few people moaning about it. Would hope thats sorted by now, think it was slightly improved by turning surround sound off.
 
I played all the splinter cell games and never move on to the next level unless I completed it 100% which is pretty tough if you haven't played before.

I ordered it for PS3 wednesday night, got it this morning. :) Literally just about to play it, it's still in it's envelope as I just got back from college.

I got a new HDTV today so this game is going to have to wait a week now as im skint:(

Probably not worth £50 but you can get it online for £39.99 so when I have sold the X360 one for £19 and the PC one for £12-15 it is not costing me much to hopefully own the best next gen version.

I'm only on the prison level, but have noticed a tiny bit of tearing now and then. Nothing major so far.
