Split Horizontal (venetian) blinds

Ok I admit it my googlefu is letting me down

Other half claims you can get split horizontal blinds.
So you can tilt half open and half shut, I can't find any at all, vertical yes, horizontal no.

Basically we are moving soon to a house with sash windows and these sound ideal but I am not convinced they actually exist

Anyone seen them, can provide a link to some?

Sounds like two sets of blinds in the same opening or does she mean shutters?

Nope deffo not shutters

So she said the top half was "open" as in you could see through and the bottom was closed.

I wonder if they are in fact 2 sets but surely that would look like a dogs dinner from the inside

Now I look again I am starting to wonder on shutters actually, you may well be right

Can you tilt the louvres on shutters, that place you linked do tier on tier which would be perfect if you can tilt the louvres

Theses seem to be individual standard blinds in shutters
