Hi there,

Is there some software to actually split up a monitor.

So say I had a 24" monitor....is there software which will split it to two screens.

So that I could have two word doucments on either side of the screen, click the maximise button on each of the documenbts and it only fill half of the screen each?

Thanks....

This has come up a few times...it's easiest if you're running an nVidia graphics card as you can set up custom gridlines in nView, otherwise you can right click the startbar for some basic windows arrangements (cascade, vertical, horizontal).

Easiest way to be honest!

Its nowhere near as neatly implemented...with the startbar if you have any small windows open (like msn messenger) then they become ridiculously large or mishapen. Your arrangement options are also pretty limited. With nView you can setup the grid however you like, and sending an application into your grid sections just involves holding ALT and doubleclicking the bar (like you'd normally maximise, + 1 button). Takes a minute or so to setup in the first place, but after that it is quicker and more advanced.
