Hi all

Will keep this simple. I've got one wireless keyboard and mouse set which i want to use for two PC's without having to unplug and re-plug. It's a USB connection and thats it.

Dont know if i need a full scale KVM as not worried about PS2 connections or video.

Is there such a thing as a simple USB splitter, which would allow me to connect the keyboard to it, and then split off to plug into both PC's at once? with a switch to pick which one is active at any one time? cheap and easy is what i'm looking for :)

thanks

looks like it might be ok, thanks :) would imagine it is ok as same as just unplugging USB from one and plugging into the other.

It was the "hot-key switching" bit that concerned me, especially if the thing you're pressing the hot key on is being switched!

PK!

Yeah I know what u mean. Although seems a fair few "full" kvms have a similar hot key to switch so guessing it might be ok. Will have a read around

thanks
