Splitting 2 separate 6+2 Pin Cables in to GPU (Need Help)

Hey guys can i Split those 2 separate cables in to my 1070 GPU using separate connectors on the PSU? because im trying to hook up my Second 1070 SLI
If so would it be safe?

The PSU has a pair of hard wired 6+2 PCIe cables and a pair of sockets to attach another set of 6+2 PCIe cables.

You appear to be wanting to use the PSU exactly as it was designed to be used.

Assuming you aren't going to be over stressing the PSU (probably not, but you haven't included the overall system specs.) you should be fine.
