splitting a file

I have a 7.81g ISO file...

How can I get it on 2 x 4.7gb blank DVDr's?

Please help

I've never used Hjsplit on a file that big but it works very well on smaller files (~500 Megs) never had any issues with it.

If you've got a Unix-like machine around or cygwin installed you should be aware of the split command. It comes built-in on most systems. Split breaks the file apart, cat puts it back together.

create an archive with a '4.3g' split, set it as 7z store mode, will do it quickly then
