Splitting an ISO

Hi all,

Ive got a 7 gig ISO file. Other than a dual layer disk, is there any way to split it on to two dvd-r's?

What do you want to do with the ISO?

Do you just need to put it onto a disk so as to install the software from it?

If so then you can do that by using Nero Image Drive.

You could use something like isobuster to uncompress the ISO and then put it onto two disks, but then if it's a disk with install software that relies on all the software being on one disk then that probably won't work.

If you just need to store it you could zip or rar it across a few files which you can store on seperate volumes.

Pretty sure you cannot split Zips, however the far better RAR can be split :-)

Yeah its an install disk. Want to back it up but dont have any DL disks.
