Hi guys is there any way I can share my audio out rather than having to go behind my PC eveytime I want to swap between using speakers or my headphones?

Using the Asus Dgx.

If you search for
HQ MANUAL 2 PORT AUDIO SWITCH~Rear input: Port 1 with 2x RCA ~output: Port 1 with 2x RCA ~Front output: 3.5mm earphone
On the rain forest, you should find something that will do the job.

Would be a lot easier to link but I don't want another suspension ;)

You may also need a couple of Y-splitter cables for adapting from 3.5mm to RCA x 2.

Why not connect your front panel audio and use that for the headphones and leave the speakers plugged into the rear?

Another option would be to upgrade your sound card:

A Creative Sound Blaster Z (OEM) [£50] has a separate socket for headphones and a much more powerful headphone amp than the DGX, so you could leave both your headphones and speakers plugged in and just switch between them in the control software.

An external sound card would give the added bonus of a volume control knob right on the desktop (real one not virtual).
The Asus Xonar U7 while costing more [£75] has separate sockets for speakers and headphones plus the aforementioned volume control.

As suggested above, you could buy a Soundblaster Z or Xonar U7. If you just want a cheap solution though, this is one option if you are using a headset, as it allows for microphone connection.
