Hello

Not sure if this is the right section. I'm having issues trying to clarify the best way to have both my PC monitor and TV connected to a single GPU and then just being able to switch which display to use without swapping out the HDMI leads.

So basically if I'm.just browsing the net I will use the.monitor, but when I want to game I'll switch to the TV. At the minute I keep having to take the monitor lead out or TV lead out each time. Is there a device I can buy that allows me to just switch displays? Its a GTX 970.

Hope this makes sense

Sorry if i'm being thick but the GPU only has one hdmi port?

Would some sort of hdmi splitter work? Ie turning the GPU into two hdmi slots and then connecting both the TV and Monitor into this?

LOL posting while drunk is never a good thing :o my monitor is connected via dvi. Does your monitor or tv have a dvi or other input that your card can plug into? If not then have a look at some HDMI splitter boxes (maybe ask about them in the Home Cinema/Hi-Fi part of the forum).
