First off, didn;t know where to put this, so move if need be.

I have Telewest Phone, TV and Internet Services. The TV goes through to my room, but my sisters wants to split the signal into the living room as well, i know this will mean whatever the box is selected to both channels will be on but does anyone know if there is just a little splitter i can get for where the Signal comes in at the wall to split the signal to two TVs?

Secondly, am i allowed to do this?>

Thanks in advance

If your using the scart socket for your current Tv all you need is a RF lead (male - female) from the back of the Digi box to the Tv you want to get cable on.

This is perfectly acceptable as you arent interfering with the Telewest internal wiring (splitting the signal at the wall wont give you much anyway (BBC1 - Ch5 if your lucky).

oh i see, the only problem with this is that the other TV is in the other room.

Why would you only get a few channels, surely if you have the splitter AFTER the box, it would just relay the same signal to the two TVs? or would that effect the picture/sound quality?

Im assuming your referring to the "Box" as the white box on the wall at the point of entry (called an Isolator).

If you split the cable that comes from this (and then on to your room where the digi-box is) and run it your Tv in your living room you would need an additional digi-box to decode the signal.
