I want to utilise skys new anytime+ service.

I have my ps3 hardwired in using a Homeplug fitted nearby. What would i need to use to be able to split the connection so i can run an ethernet into my skybox as well?

i was just going to buy a splitter but it says you cannot share a connection. So now i am confused:confused:

brilliant, i will get one as recommended!

Just a quick question though, will it automatically apportion the bandwith as it is needed or do you have to manually switch between, say, sky and ps3?
What i mean is, is it clever enough to allow to items to share the bandwith?

If you get my drift?:o

There are no manual (or any other) controls on a simple switch. Bandwidth is used as demanded by the devices. If they need more than is available then they fight for it. ;)

i thought a switch automatically proportioned the bandwidth between the devices in use, whereas a hub was first come first served so to speak.
