My iPhoto library is pretty large at 155Gb. Whilst performance in iPhoto isn't too bad I do wonder if it could be better. I am also a bit worried that the larger it becomes the greater the chance of corruption or something going wrong.
Some searching around suggests splitting the library into smaller parts, perhaps based on year would help and sounds a good idea to me. However as far as I can see this requires 3rd party software.
Has anyone else split their libraries? If so what did you use and how was it?
What size libraries do other people have? Perhaps 155GB isn't an issue after all?
