Hi,
I have 2 cars. 9years no claims.
In insurance I have shadowed no claims on both.

However my insurance renewal is coming up and I thought I'd try something.

Can I apply 8years no claims to 1 vehicle and 8years to the other? I can save about 1/3 if I do it that way.

Maybe the issue is that if you had it on two cars with 2 different insurers, then claimed on one car, you could request a proof of no claims from the other insurer?

But I agree its all pretty stupid.

Most decent companies will mirror NCB onto another policy.

My NCB are on my S2000 and Sky mirrored it on the M3.

As mentioned, as long as you are the only driver for both cars, most insurers will give you the NCD to both.

Found another way around it as advised by a mate. Down from £1k last year to to £1.1k+ this year to under £700.

Will advise next week when I know more definite things other than a quote as I will play Admiral off against them.
