Can see this being quite a heavy defeat for Tottenham. I think Chelsea are on the best run a side has had this season in the EPL. I think they'll win by at least 2 goals.

So a win tomorrow puts us 5th and with Spurs having to travel to City before they face us, we might not even have to beat them to keep 5th spot.

Who'd have thought that was possible 4-5 months ago? :)

Most people looked past the 'doom and gloom' whiney attitude that the majority of Liverpool fans have had for the last couple of months.

4th-6th is about right, and as you say you could finish well right in the middle of that.

I hope that's sarcasm!

Why?

A great deal of your squad is used to finishing in the Champions League spots. Not doubting that Kenny's come in and done a great job, but that's largely all he had to do - motivate the players after Hodgeson's tenure. The talent that did well in previous years for the most part was already there.

I had doubts as to whether Spurs could keep up their efforts of last season, and it appears they're faltering slightly at the end.

I think I predicted you'd have a top 6 finish, and as said above most people who thought you would finish mid table or lower were those overly loud and pessimistic Liverpool fans.

Edit - or hopeful United fans. ;)

That poor girl's been abused left right and centre. :p

Not sure if that's entirely deliberate though. Looks like he gets caught then stumbles forward

I actually kind of hope Chelsea lose, which disgusts me a little bit. The Grove would have been far more fun on Sunday had it really meant anything.

Although, both teams fielding five ineligible players and cards galore for the rest would do too, I suppose.

Second and third don't really mean anything except for £0.5m, so, we may as well support United.
